Depending on the type of vehicle the hotel uses for their shuttle, you may not need a carseat, such as buses that don’t have seatbelts anyways. However, if you’ll be using a rideshare during any shore excursions, you’ll still need to pack your carseat!
If you’d rather get a rideshare so you can use a carseat, make sure you’re bringing your own. Since these are personal vehicles or sometimes passenger vans, carseats are required in the US.
Your third option, if you’d rather not deal with carseats in your stateroom, but still want your kiddo to ride in one, is to book a private transfer.
